Aaaah, to be beside the sea in summer, and in Devon too… Laura and Daniel got married in Devon last summer in a tiny little lookout hut on the Devon clifftop, and being a typically British summer, it was blowing a hooley! The location was incredible, as were the couple, as its not often you spend a few hours doing your hair, to instantly have it blown all over the place! After the ceremony we all went back to Ropehawn for quite family dinner. Lovely people, lovely place, but too windy!! Enjoy..
A French Chateau, sunshine, summer, friends. What more do you need? Mia and Dan got married in the amazing Chateau La Durantie in the Dordogne. It was a fantastic weekend, as not only do you get the use of the Chateau and its grounds for the weekend, you also get a huge number of rooms for everyone to stay. All you need to do is add some wine and good times follow. Thanks Mia and Dan for a top weekend.
Ive been to India many times and i love it, but had never been to Goa, until I met Susanne and Ben, both filmmakers, who asked if i wanted to come and shoot their wedding on the beach. How could I refuse. They had the ceremony at the superb La Plage restaurant, followed by the band and dancing with dinner afterwards. The reason for this was that due to a local election, there was a complete alcohol ban and ban on any load music after dark, so basically half the bits that make up a wedding were not allowed. This didn’t deter Susanne and Ben, they pressed ahead anyway and continued the drinking indoors at the house they had rented. One thing is for sure – there is nothing finer than dancing on the beach as the sun sets…enjoy.
Norfolk in the summer sunshine is a great place to be, and especially beside the wonderful Fritton Lake. Christina and Jon tied the knot there beside the lake with the added bonus of having a very large childrens play area next to it. Well i can heartily recommend that all weddings should have one of these for the added fun late into the evening. Enjoy….
Ive been travelling round quite a bit, and having just back from a wedding in Goa, I have a job in Scotland over Easter and luckily i managed to spend a few days relaxing with my family near Loch Rannoch. The weather was stunning, such a beautiful place…
